I love this picture. It's a still from the "Explorers of the Unknown: Disastergeddon!" book promo video below. The logo was a piece of art commissioned in 2009 or so and then everything else about the picture is layered video effects, the result of which was enough to make me take pause when I flicked past it in my dropbox folder.
"Explorers of the Unknown" may have a storied past, but all that matters is that "Disastergeddon!" is my perfect adventure novel. It started out as a comic, the story was completed as a screenplay, and then everything was polished as a novel. It's fun; it's funny; it's got dinosaurs, monsters, and aliens; it's an apocalypse to end all apocalypses.
