ZOMBIEBOYS!

So in case you didn't know, Krumbination is still alive.  It was stuck in a bit of a coma over the summer, but it's slowly waking back up and finding new footing.  One interesting thing that has recently popped up was a collaborative writing project started by Billo.  In the spirit of Devilmas, it's about zombies and in the spirit of collaboration, everyone is taking a turn writing a chapter (or a portion, as the case may be).  I just contributed the third chapter of the story, which you can read after the break.  You can catch up on the whole story over at Krumbination.

A 10-10-10 Devilmas Miracle and other Assorted Ramblings

Ah, the sweet irony of a 10-10-10 post two days too late.  In my defense, I was drunk.  But not really.  No, I had every intention of writing this on the right day, but I banged out that ill-advised WEBCAMS commentary instead.

Live and learn?  Or just die and forget?  Fuck, I gotta pee.

(BTW I say "ill-advised" because the rule I usually live by is that I never publish my opinion on a WEBCAMS episode.  The reason is that there's been many times--including this one--when I've gone through the entire process of producing an episode and in the end, it just doesn't do anything for me.  After I post it online, however, it never fails to receive high praise.  So either everyone is afraid to criticize WEBCAMS or I I'm just too critical and too close to each episode.  I honestly don't know which it is, which is why I generally keep my mouth shut.  You know, usually.)

Among the things that I ABSOLUTELY MUST START WORKING ON NOW is the script for the second episode of Tube Talking.  This one is actually pretty high on my to-do list, mostly because I've been promising it to people and, technically, I told someone I had already started writing it.  Okay, so I lied a little, but it really was as unintentional as missing the 10-10-10 date for this blog.  When I told the person that I had started writing it, I was planning on doing just that in about an hour.  I just never got to it.  So I wasn't REALLY lying when told her, it just happened to turn into a lie later on.

Yeah, I am TOTALLY rambling here.  Click past the break to see if I start writing with any more direction.

WEBCAMS 24 Commentary

10/10/2010

Ah, the thrill of a new WEBCAMS.  The last episode was "Lucky Duck" and that was posted just over two weeks ago.  If there's anything to be said about this new episode, it's that it's been too long.

Far, FAR too long.

See, this new episode ("Life, the Universe, & Golf") originally had the designation of our 14th episode.  In case you missed it, this is now our 24th episode.  Okay, so it's only 10 episodes late .... no big deal, right?

Maybe yes, maybe no.

Read my full commentary after the break!

Well, after a week of preparations, the WEBCAMS train is ready to hit the tracks again.  We've got a boatload of excellent scripts lined up, so pending any unforeseen hiccups, you can expect a new script/episode a week for at least the next five or six weeks.  In other words, if you miss out on a part now, there'll be another chance next week!
