Videos You Should Be Watching - 12/30

We kick things off with a video from quite easily one of my favorite ladies on youtube, misspacman08.  This chick has it all--looks, intelligence, humor--and she knows how to take advantage of it.

I would be remiss if I didn't post any of my videos.  Watch the one below, and then watch the video that inspired it.

And finally, from another Horbawrong Studios production, the very latest from Split Ends Blog:

I had the idea to slap myself and thought it was a good note to end on.  So I did it.  As you can tell, I slapped myself three times.  It was one of those situations when I just wasn't sure how to do the slap right.  Here were the things I was trying to keep in mind:

1) Krumbine can't see the slap coming.
2) He can notice the hand, but he can't know what it's for.
3) Obviously, Krumbine has to be surprised.

Do you have any idea how painful it is to slap yourself?  Three times in a row?  Try it.  Really.  Go ahead.  And don't hold back.

You can't see it in the video, but my cheek was pretty red after the second slap.

Anyway, to finish the story, as I'm cutting this thing together, I keep laughing my ass off each time I slap myself.  So picture this:  I'm sitting on the couch, working on the laptop, headphones on so as that I don't disturb the housemate, and I'm laughing at myself.

That's called taking one for the team, kids.

His name is depointless.  This video is why his name is linked in the sidebar:

I was gonna post Middlebrook's latest, but my hunch is that if you're reading this blog, you've probably already seen his latest.  Instead, watch this one:

Finally, my girl Rae is an ace at editing.  Tell me I'm wrong.  Go ahead.

Naps are great.  Four hour naps in the middle of the day, on the other hand?  Not so great ... especially on a Sunday before I have to get up early for work.

Fortunately, the House marathon on USA has finally gotten to episodes that I haven't already seen three times.

Yes, I google myself.

Who doesn't?

I don't place ads, and I don't buy listings ... I've just been working on developing the name and the person "Krumbine" for a little while now.  And it's finally paid off.

It used to be that a google search for "krumbine" brought my first listings up on the third or fourth page ... now I'm on the first page.  At NUMBER 4.

... let me count the ways ... or not.

It occurs to me that the holiday's are the usual time for things to fall to the wayside and become forgotten.  It's definitely been interesting to keep a wandering eye on the goings on of my youtube circle and watch as everything practically crawls to a standstill.

Which reminds me: what did you get for Devilmas?  Leave me a comment ;)

Truthfully, of the two years I've celebrated Devilmas, this has definitely been the best.  Not only as Devilmas awareness skyrocketed (okay, maybe it's not huge, but it's a hell of a lot bigger than it was before!) but one of the best Devilmas gifts ever comes from youtuber gimmeabreakman.

Thanks to this particular youtube partner, there will be a four new episodes of Talking Heads--a TH miniseries, as it were, entitled "YouTube Rejects" and starring the likes of gimmeabreakman, misspacman08, depointless, as well as regular cast members like Middlebrook and Sam.  The new episodes WON'T be posted on my channel--gimmeabreakman will be hosting them--as such, I'll keep you posted for when they go live.

And now, take eight minutes to watch this badass Devilmas tribute video from one of my new favorite youtubers, obsquatch:

Truth be told, while I previously wrote two new episode of Talking Heads (this was about a month ago or so) I eventually came to the conclusion that it was time to move on from the series.

Interestingly enough, it recently dawned on me that Talking Heads is less of an internet show than it is a concept--a collaborative style, if you will.  You've no doubt noticed that most of my videos since Talking Heads have been, at their heart, the exact same thing.

My point in this post is simply to say this: something very big is being cooked up, just you wait and see.
