Long time, no see, huh? Sorry about that. A lot has happened since my last post, and hopefully you haven't missed out on the last few episodes of SEXKITTENS. I spare you the drama of the last few weeks and just highlight the big things: 1) The SEXKITTENS finale had to be reworked due to budget constraints, but it's still a fitting end to the series. All 18 episodes are officially up on my youtube page, so check them out or wait for me to post the series playlist here. 2) The Beanie Boy Show is not gone .... I just didn't want it to steal any of Sexkittens thunder. And, well, I fell behind on my editing. With Sexkittens complete, we'll get back to Beanie Boy's Monday schedule. 3) Horbawrong Studios begins production of it's next show, Misery Loves Company, in a few days. I've written and produced an original theme for the show and I've been working towards composing a bit of original music for each episode. For everyone who enjoyed all the ladies in Sexkittens, celebrate--Misery Loves Company stars Sam, Sharilynn, Falynne, and Heidi. 4) Last--but certainly not least--I've went ahead and created my own social network. As ridiculous as that sounds (you know, because I'm pretty much opposed to anything 'social-networky') the dry run has been a pretty decent success. It's called Krumbination and anyone who has a creative bone in their body is encouraged to join. After the break, you can read about what the guiding principles of Krumbination are. Additionally, with this community-driven creative, er, community, I've decided to take this opportunity to relaunch the Talking Heads webcam show. Except it's not called Talking Heads anymore and it's driven solely by members of Krumbination. So if you want to get in on the fun, you know where to go: KRUMBINATION: Powered by YOU.
WHO: Creative minds seeking an inventive and collaborative environment to publish their media. WHAT: A launching point for fresh, creative talent WHY: Going solo, it's getting harder and harder for unknowns to reach an audience. As places like YouTube get larger and larger, less and less resources are being devoted to lesser-known variables. HOW: krumbination will be a weekly web-based publication/show that will be driven by user-submitted content ranging from web shows to short stories to photographs and comics. The goal will be to reinforce what a community-driven project can look like. Add your content now in one of the following categories: Videos (a short or internet/webshows--NO VLOGS ALLOWED!), Short stories or articles (posted under your blog), Photos (or images/comics), Music. Stay creative! |
